Kristmas- W-2 Boy Album Trailer (Slow Motion Soundz, 2011)
Slow Motion Soundz affiliate Kristmas releases his album W-2 Boy tomorrow through SMS, and here’s a trailer for it. There’s also a pretty good track available at Southern Hospitality. Kristmas is a dude with verbal skill and a huge personality, evidenced by his guest spots on Huntsville International and THE ONE from G-Side. His solo career, outside of a couple of definite highlights, has not yet lived up to his abilities, and hopefully this changes on W-2 Boy. One of the nicest and most personable dudes I’ve ever met, he’s definitely one to root for in the rap game.
Also, speaking of overlooked rappers from Alabama, KD (from our first ever feature here on SAH) just dropped a new album of all new material, G-Fluid, his first since 2009’s excellent Soul Inn. Includes a guest spot from Freddie Gibbs and Burn One production. Excellent country rap tunes.
