Rich Boy - “All I Know”
RIYL: DJ Burn One, Aphex Twin. This beat is criminal. Thank you Supa Villain. From Rich Boy’s excellent new mixtape 12 Diamonds. Glad he finally delivered a handful of content to parse over. It’s really in the vein of the street albums Burn One and others have been putting out recently. The production is superb, there are no DJ drops, it’s only forty minutes, and it’s Rich Boy. You want this tape. Also, the version I downloaded had a tagged version of “I Just Wanna Party” so grab the untagged replacement here.
Reblogging to: a) echo what Joseph said — production is outstanding on 12 Diamonds, thanks to Supavillain, who should be getting more attention, both on the blog circuit and in the “real-life” rap world than he currently is (though I did see he was on a bill with Project Pat in Gulfport last weekend); and b) to withdraw my knee jerk comments about the (lack of) quality music on this tape from last week. I spun 12 Diamonds regularly this past weekend, and along with “All I Know,” “Gwap,” “Struggling,” and “Fresh Cut (Remix),” there’s no shortage of quality music on here.
