So Maynholup!, the infamous and enigmatic guest blogger from Cocaine Blunts came through and blessed us with a special guest post for S.A.H., regarding his top 20 songs of the year. Later this week you’ll be hearing more from Soft Money and I on our top mixtapes/albums and tracks of the year, as well as a couple year end wrap-up pieces, but we figured this would kick things off pretty well.

20. “Blame Game” - Kanye f/ John Legend
If you think Kanyes new record wuz de best thang yall ever heard stop reading now and kill yourself. Not a bad album but please, i seen so many perfect scores fo dat shit iss ridiculous. But de screwed verse on dis song iz pretty amazing. (I assume Mike Dean wuz 99% responsible fo dis).
19. “Dope Game” - Jacka, Ampichino & Dubb 20
Hard ta pick a single song from dis Devils Rejectz album but mayn, Great album consistant az fuck.
18. “T-Shirts and Buddens” - Lil B
De Diss song uv de year hands down. Joe Budden could drop the best album ever an still be corny. He seems like de biggest asshole in de world. I wud have luved ta see his reaction to dis songs many classic lines. “Cause you’re in the hood still/ proably selling x pills/ probaly eatin an asshole” and “Bet you still jack off/ with your buttcheeks out/ listenin to Mood Muzik”. mayn i neva laughed so hard when i heard dis shit. Iss great cuz Joey alwayz frontin on some serious bullshit an for B to go at him with dis juvenile shit iz amazing.

“Hunstvegas stizzar/ bob marley papers no cigar/ kush got me feelin kinda bizarre”
16. “Spotlight” - Wiz Khalifa f/ Killa Kyleon
I loved “Kush an OJ”, but Kyleon haz by far de best verse on it.
15. “Black Killa” - Young Gully
Gully had a breakout year and his “Grant Station Project” iz incredible.
14. “Anutha Night” - PRGz
Paper Route Gangstaz finna be a problem.
13. “Tall” - Alley Boy f/ Young Dro
Dro is the Randy Moss uv rap. When he tries, he’s de best. (lets hope his career goes better den Moss’s 2010 season fuck you randy I saw you joggin when you wuz here.)
12. “Turns Me On” - Big Boi
Wun uv de only songs on Big Boi’s record that was good all the way through (not countin shit that leaked 9 months befo it dropped). If only he had left Vonegut or whoeva off de otha songz, cuz he wuz going in on most verses.
11. “Battle Cry” - Joell Ortiz
A lil too much hash tag shit but it works here mayn. Joell raps his ass off.
10. “Trapped” - H.R.O.
I know nothin about dis group and cant find a nother song, but dis wun iz amazing and wuz my most played for a good part uv de year. Some chilling lines on it “so malicious/ strapped with the militarys, face lookin suspiscious”

Cloud muzik.
8. “Ike Turner Pimpin” - Slim Thug, Juicy J & Project Pat
I dont care when this came out. Straight country rap tunes.
7. “Back To The Future (Sergio Vegas Remix)” - G-Side
Without a full album G-Side still killed 2010 and stayed az next level az ever. “1…The Cohesive” iz much awaited.
6. “I Get High” - T-Rock & Mr. Sche.
Wun uv de best smoking songs i’ve ever heard. Mr Sche’s verse iz on sum Big Hawk shit and also has a great stretch where he sez “Sex got a playa hungry mayn/ Waffle house gotta hit it mayn/ Steak and eggs, I want it mayn/” which is just amazing. Den T-Rock absolutely slaughters de track.
5. “My Time Is Now” - Rittz
Best new rapper ta emerge from 2010 easy. His second verse iz a display uv masterful rapping.
4. “Freestyle” - Z-Ro
I wuz gonna put “Eyez on The Prize” here but I have listened to dis freestyle more den any Ro song in 2010. He continues to age like fine wine and I believe ro will rebound from de recycle-heavy “Heroin” now dat he’s off de drank.
3. “Crushin’ Feelings” - Freddie Gibbs
Verse for verse, no wun iz really fuckin wit Gangsta Gibbs.
2. “Happy To Be Here” - Starlito
Probably my favorite rapper at de moment. His second verse here (de whole song really) is a clinic in delivery.
1. “Box Chevy, pt. 3” - Yelawolf f/ Rittz
Between de last bar of Yela verse and de way Rittz slaughters dis track, dis earned Best Song of the Year status on the first day uv 2010.
