Jon Caramanica wrote a great piece for the NY Times today about the spreading of DJ Screw’s influence outward into electronic music, namely witch house. To people who follow this sort of thing there’s nothing exactly new here, but it’s good to see someone expressly talking about it in print. Also, virtually all of the witch house artists interviewed come off as pretentious douchebags, so there’s that as well.
