Lil Neal (Alley Boy, Trouble, Pill Rocko) has something here with the off-kilter, ping pong delay of an otherwise hat-and-clap-busy trap beat. The effect of the synth line is to sort of slow the whole thing down and maintain forward momentum without sucking out the energy.
The tempo is decidedly in Flocka’s comfort zone, so when he exclaims “you can’t go 12 rounds with this heavyweight”, you kind of have to believe him. Oh, Veli Sosa raps too. He’s like a gruff-er Yo Gotti without the accent, and Jeezy’s rhyme patterns.
