I’m just dumping some random shit now. Back when we were putting together the Cloud Rap tape we asked Squadda to put us up on some dudes we might not know about, and he introduced us to Rob Lo an “underground legend” in the Bay Area who Squadda felt was churning out cloud rap shit as well as hard-hitting slappers. Based on what I’ve heard, he was taking that Bay Area Mobb sound in new and unusual places in the early 00s. His sound is both an influence on new Bay Area weirdos like Squadda and Lil B, as well as more mainstream guys like the Livewire crew.
