Fiend “Going Out With A Blast” (1998, No Limit)
On most days, my favorite song by the former Tank Soldier, and, SPOILER ALERT: this record is on my forthcoming 25 To Life mix (but see also: ”Big Timer” and “Mr. Whomp Whomp”).
The beat is creeping and menacing like much of Beats By The Pound’s best work, and provides the ideal canvass for “the one” in this NL family to rap about guns and murder — and really, even though some of that Flying Iron shit is alright, that’s what he does best.
