Lord Infamous f/ Crucified “Smokin Blunts” (prod. by J-Green)
Producer J-Green is mining the classic macabre and tape hiss sound of Paul & J’s early 90s work, but throwing in some post-Luger hi hat flutters to keep one foot firmly in 2011.
Lord Infamous still knows how to murder these kinds of beats which made him a Memphis underground staple, and is a much better look than the paint-by-Ableton production of his 2011 outing, The Crucifixion.
“Smokin Blunts” is from J-Green’s forthcoming Da Caper II tape, the follow up to March’s Codeine Dreams.
