Happy #Bornday to The Trill Connection
Hard to believe it’s been (over) a year for Percy Mack and The Trill Connection. Along with the Southern Hospitality fam, Percy was the first to reach out to me at the old spot (actually, really even before then), and has remained a strong supporter of Flex and I since.
In a culture where most of what is posted and written is met with great indifference, it’s a good feeling when someone who’s work you enjoy (and someone who’s archival skills are nearly unrivaled) takes second out of his day to co-sign what you’re doing and let you know that, occasionally, you spout out some interesting shit.
Sure we have love for those that despise us and take joy in denigrating our approach (hey, at least someone is paying attention), but the occasional kind word is appreciated also. So, to that end, Walkmasterflex and I thought it was important to show our respect for TTC, and that we most definitely look forward to another year in the (new and improved) Land of the Trill.
